8. Sử dụng sai giới từ đứng sau tính từ và danh từ:

Lỗi sử dụng sai giới từ đứng sau tính từ và danh từ là một trong những lỗi phổ biến nhất của các bạn học sinh. Để khắc phục trường hợp này bắt buộc các bạn phải thường xuyên sử dụng và ghi nhớ. Hãy tích cực ôn tập và áp dụng các trường hợp phổ biến dưới đây hằng ngày các bạn nhé!

9. Sử dụng dấu (') chỉ sử hữu hay dùng để rút gọn từ trong bài viết: 

a.Thông thường chúng ta sử dụng dấu (') để rút gọn các từ quen thuộc như: 

Do not- Don’t             Had not- hadn't           Cannot-Can’t              I will- I’ll
Tuy nhiên có một lưu ý quan trọng rằng: Không bao giờ được viết tắt trong các bài thi IELTS Writing các bạn nhé.(Đây là dạng bài viết học thuật nên chúng ta không được viết tắt)

b.Dấu (') còn được sử dụng để chỉ sự sở hữu: 
Helen’s car
Min’s brother
